The New York City Sim is looking for committed, fun and enthusiastic hosts to help run our events. As a New York City Sim Host you will be responsible for ensuring that guests to our events are greeted when they arrive and have a fantastic time whilst they are on the sim. We plan to have 1-2 events per week at 3 pm, 5pm or 7 pm, 1-2 hours in length though. Successful candidates must be flexible in case the event goes over the allocated time.
The successful candidates will have:
- Able to read, speak and write in English
- Ability to do voice for meetings when needed
- Must be 30 days or older in Second Life
- Have good hair, skin and shape
The New York City Sim is not a club and events which you will host will vary in nature. Gestures are prohibited. We would like our hosts to engage guests and help us to build a culture. Events may include, in store parties (with or without live entertainment), sample sales, live performances, discussions, open houses, touring, fashion shows and general parties.
Candidate is required to complete a 2 week internship which includes training, to determine if the position is a perfect fit. Salary starts at $400 per event and includes 80% of all tips.
